The EU Industry Daysare Europe’s flagship event dedicated to industry, serving as an open
platform for industry representatives, the research community, and civil
society representatives. They are an opportunity to discuss the future of EU
industrial policy with high-level EU policymakers, to discover EU initiatives in
support of EU industry and to find new partners to collaborate with. The next
edition of the EU Industry Days will take place on 5-6 June 2025 in Rzeszów,
Poland, in the context of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the
European Union.
The EU Industry Days 2025 will zoom in on:
- Competitiveness
and Decarbonisation: Creating lead markets for
clean technologies, accelerating decarbonisation and circularity,
increasing clean energy, developing framework conditions and
infrastructure, strengthening the single market.
- An
Innovative Industry: Increasing and derisking
investments, upskilling and reskilling, enabling start-ups and scale-ups
to thrive, fostering critical technologies, and promoting R&I.
- Increasing
Security and Reducing Dependencies with EU Industry:Strengthening defence, building and ensuring the
resilience of EU value chains, facilitating access to critical raw
materials, and supporting Ukraine’s recovery.
As part of the main programme, the European Commission has just
launched a call
for proposals for stakeholder sessions, allowing industrial stakeholders to
apply to organise a parallel session as part of the main programme of the
event. The deadline to apply is 31st January 2025 at 12h00 CEST.
Beyond the main programme, the event will also include:
·Meet the Experts Corner: The Meet the Experts Corner will be used to provide participants,
especially SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and smaller mid-caps, with access to
information on available financial or non-financial support for them to scale
up, integrate sustainable and digital business models into their process, adopt
advanced technologies, and improve their resilience
·Exhibition: The exhibition will include over 30 stands which will showcase cutting-edge
technology prototypes that can contribute to enhancing companies’ productivity,
competitiveness and sustainability
·Matchmaking: Participants will also be able to meet new suppliers, customers, and
investors, and in this way access new business leads and cooperation
opportunities
