Doing business in the EU - Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

Doing business in the EU

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme aims to inform participants about the many opportunities offered by the Single Market as well as how to overcome market/business obstacles.

It is important for entrepreneurs to be aware of the functioning of the European Union Internal Market and understand its benefits when buying and selling products or services across borders.

The training fiche on the Internal Market introduces general aspects of the European Union Single Market and briefly describes its main benefits from a small and medium-sized business perspective. It presents the concepts of free movement of people, goods, services and capital. As there are still major challenges ahead that still need to be addressed, this document refers to useful additional sources of information and advice, notably the Enterprise Europe Network and SOLVIT. This document also includes information about the European Service Directive, Intellectual Property, access to finance and funding opportunities, together with contact points for further questions and queries.
