Building EntreComp Synergies
6 June 2023 (EIT House, 7 Rue Guimard, Brussels)
This European Commission study visit is aiming to
build and strengthen synergies between different initiatives implementing
EntreComp – the EU model of entrepreneurship competences.
Led by EIT Food, this study visit will take place in
Brussels on 6-7 June 2023 and will be hosted at EIT House. Skills for SMEs will
be a theme running through the event. Speakers and participants will include
representatives from across all sectors, including SMEs, employment, training
and education, to both inspire and inform debate and the design of next steps
actions in the area of recognising entrepreneurial skills through skills
portfolios.
On Day 1 the goal is to learn from extensive practices
demonstrating implementation of EntreComp into national curricula, higher
education practices, employability, start-up and EIT Food work linked to food
systems. Each practice shared will demonstrate its impact – related to
EntreComp – across one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals. On Day 2 a
core group (consortium members) will focus on developing a proposal to create
both a new way of robustly evidencing relevant skills, and on how to pursue
implementation thereafter.
