The EU
Industry Days is Europe's annual flagship event focusing on industrial
pioneers, ongoing industrial policy discussions and improving the knowledge
base of European industry. It is the main platform to discuss industrial
challenges and jointly develop opportunities and policy responses in a broad
dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders.
It
provides information for industrial policy at European, national, regional and
local level and ensures coherence in European industry to create jobs, growth
and innovation in Europe.
The
EU Industry Days 2022 will take place in Brussels from 8 to 11 February 2022.
The
2022 edition will stimulate discussions across industrial ecosystems on their
green and digital pathways to strengthen the resilience of EU companies and
SMEs. In line with the Commission's proposal to make 2022 the European Year of
Youth, discussions will take place on how the young generation can shape the
future of EU industry.

Submit your proposal by 28 November 2021 23:59 CET. Expect
an answer by 10 December 2021.
If
you or your organisation want to help shape the debate on European industry and
industrial policy, organising and hosting a stakeholder session at the EU Industry
Days is an excellent platform. The EU needs an active and engaged dialogue with
industry stakeholders to make the transition to a digital, greener and more
resilient European industry. Make your voice heard in a powerful and impactful
way by curating and hosting a session at EU Industry Days 2022.
The
European Commission will select up to 18 stakeholder meetings on the themes of
the EU Industry Days 2022. The selection will be made on the basis of the
following criteria
- Relevance to the
themes of the EU Industry Days 2022
- European relevance
(i.e. no purely national themes)
- Dynamic and
interactive formats that allow for engagement with participants.
- The following
criteria are considered beneficial and are encouraged
- Appropriate
geographical and gender balance of speakers
- Inclusion of young
speakers/panellists/other roles (under 30 years of age).
The
EC has discretion to select sessions based on the above criteria. Rejected
candidates will be notified, but the EC cannot provide individual feedback;
they may offer some unsuccessful proposals to organise a local event as part of
the 'EU Industry Weeks'.
Industry
representatives will organise numerous local events across Europe during
January-February 2022. See the call for proposals for local events to
find out more about how you can get involved.
