The
European Innovation Council (EIC) has launched a call for expression of interest for the new EIC Board. Under the legislation of
Horizon Europe, the Board is tasked with guiding the implementation of the EIC
as Europe’s most ambitious innovation programme with a budget of €10 billion.
The European
Commission is seeking passionate innovators - entrepreneurs, investors and
venture capitalists, corporate leaders, researchers and academics with leading
expertise in future and emerging technologies, breakthrough and disruptive
innovation, starting and scaling businesses, innovation ecosystem builders, and
innovation experts.
The
deadline for innovators to express interest is Wednesday 30 June. The
Commission will then select between 15 and 20 members to be appointed to the
Board which will start its operations in September. Take up the challenge to
