Fondi for EU is a business that offers both a podcast programme and a consultancy agency. The podcast, available for free, informs Italian citizens about current European affairs and the impact of EU policies on daily life. The consultancy provides tailored solutions for businesses, ensuring compliance with European regulations and assisting with EU funding applications, generating revenue through these services. The goal is to revolutionize the publishing industry with customized, cost-effective solutions while enhancing the reading and listening experience in Italy.

During the exchange, I fully immersed myself in the host entrepreneur’s business, gaining valuable insights into the industry. I learned about programme planning, strategic management, and European news coverage while actively participating in content production, audience engagement, and financial management. Understanding the distinction between credible news and misinformation was a crucial aspect of the experience.

The host entrepreneur involved me in daily operations, from programme development and content creation to audience analysis. Through his guidance, I gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of running a successful media business. I also developed essential project management skills, particularly in designing and producing a radio programme—an experience that prepared me to launch my own podcast and media venture.

Beyond technical skills, the programme allowed me to build connections with other professionals, opening doors for future collaborations and partnerships. In return, my contributions brought significant benefits to the host entrepreneur. I supported the production and broadcasting of radio programmes, helped improve communication on European affairs with my expertise, and strengthened his professional network by offering fresh perspectives for the business.

This exchange was an invaluable step in shaping my future in media, equipping me with the knowledge and connections to successfully navigate the industry.
