My name is Saradia, I’m a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Albania, passionate about preserving cultural heritage, traditions and local values. My goal is to establish a social enterprise focused on the development and preservation of culture through community-driven projects. Seeking to acquire practical skills and knowledge from experienced professionals, I came across the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme, which provided the perfect platform to strengthen my business idea. On the other hand, Tiziano Tomassini is an Italian entrepreneur who founded Young Effect in 2009. The organization is dedicated to youth development, cultural preservation, and non-formal education with a strong focus on creating impactful social projects. Through the EYE platform, Tiziano and I connected and decided to collaborate on a six-month exchange aimed at developing innovative projects in the field of cultural preservation while mutually enhancing our skills and expertise.
During the exchange I contributed to various aspects of project development and management at Young Effect. I assisted in analyzing and improving the organization’s partnerships, communication strategies and social media presence. One of my main tasks was developing new project ideas focused on cultural preservation and managing the participant selection process to ensure the right individuals were involved. I also worked on the logistical planning for international participants, coordinating their transportation and accommodation. Additionally, I contributed to the improvement of the organization’s website by adjusting its approach to showcase a wider range of projects - not just youth-focused ones - ensuring it better represented all initiatives.
Participating in the EYE programme was a transformative experience that gave me the tools and confidence to pursue my entrepreneurial vision. I gained valuable experience in event organization, partner engagement and effective communication strategies, which will be key to achieving my business goals. I also expanded my professional network by connecting with international organizations aligned with my mission, laying the foundation for future collaborations. For Tiziano, the collaboration brought fresh ideas and new perspectives to Young Effect’s ongoing work. My input helped improve the organization’s communication strategies, strengthen its online presence and attract new partners. The partnership strengthened connections for projects related to adult education and mobility programs, which broadened Young Effect’s network and impact.
