Interested in working for a German company the New Entrepreneur Pawel decided to participate in the EYE program to experience the German IT market first hand and to understand how business is done there. Thanks to his unique mix of cognitive and computer science skills as well as his work experience in e-commerce and telecommunications he was sure to bring a significant contribution to the host company.

Business IT specialist the Host Entrepreneur Christopher collected more than 10 years of experience before founding the company flipsight which aims to enable companies from the manufacturing industry to digitize all qualification-related processes and making external qualification content from the industrial ecosystem usable. He decided to participated in EYE because he wanted to lower the hurdle for new entrepreneurs to start their own entrepreneurial journey by sharing his own experience and insights to potential new entrepreneurs.

Pawel’s primary task was to gather and prioritize requirements for a solution aimed at creating a minimum viable product (MVP). This process included conducting user research to validate requirements and formulating a detailed plan. First Pawel familiarized with the architecture and technology stack of Christopher’s product platform. He meticulously gathered the necessary requirements for the proposed solution ensuring to prioritize them for a minimum viable product (MVP) that emphasized user-friendliness. The development of the MVP proceeded in iterative sprints during which it was rigorously tested with users and within the product development team. Following successful iterations and refinements the final solution was seamlessly integrated into flipsight’s product platform.

The participation in this exchange program granted substantial benefits for both parties fostering innovation skill development and cross-cultural business acumen. During the exchange Pawel designed and implemented new functionality aimed at streamlining the manufacturing process. For Pawel the exchange provided an invaluable opportunity to work within an established business environment gaining hand-on experience and learning from seasoned professionals. This experience broadened Pawel’s understanding of industry standards and best practices while also allowing them to refine their technical and managerial skills.

Thanks to Pawel’s contribution Christopher’s company product platform has a new feature that complements the value of the core product and is directly integrated into the overall platform. This new functionality is expected increase the overall value of the core product to the customers by increasing efficiencies and decreasing the number of media breaks.
