Leonardo Bressan, the new entrepreneur, is an aspiring entrepreneur driven by a burning passion to create positive change and contribute to society. He applied to the EYE programme to get invaluable experiences and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, and to get support in his project with the general aim to create innovative technologies with a positive impact on people's lives and contribute to a better society and propel humanity towards a better version of itself. He’s launching ARVIC, a product that will enter the running and fitness tracker market, with the goal of helping athletes maximise the efficiency of their workouts, by allowing them to improve their running form and keep their focus and motivation high at all times. The host entrepreneur, Annalisa Menin, is an author and experienced entrepreneur specialised in Branding and Communication. Venetian by birth, naturalised American, she has been living in New York since 2006, where she founded her creative agency Octonano.

Graphic design has been central to the collaboration, encompassing tasks ranging from crafting logos and brand identities for startups to overseeing the rebranding efforts of the host entrepreneur’s clients, thus contributing to the enhancement of Annalisa's company's visual identity. Overall, this collaboration has provided the nee entrepreneur with invaluable opportunities to partake in meaningful projects, refining not only design skills but also essential soft skills like problem-solving, time management, and leadership, vital for any aspiring entrepreneur. Both the Leonardo and Annalisa have focused on refining design abilities through a diverse range of UX/UI projects spanning across various industries. This has afforded the new entrepreneur the chance to spearhead collaborative efforts on their own business venture alongside the host and the team, strategizing on scaling up and presenting the startup to potential investors.

The experience was positive and successful for both parties. Leonardo had the great chance to deepen his knowledge and understanding on the graphic design and communication field, exploring also funding and investment opportunities for his startup. All the information and insights, together with the skills gained during the experience, will become an added value for his own project. The host could make use of the new entrepreneur’s technical and soft skills to work on clients management. Her company experienced an improvement in the visual communication appeal for both clients and Octonano. Leonardo also contributed to the overall team morale, thanks to his maturity and preparation!
