This programme gave me a unique opportunity to step back and deepen my education while also sharpening my skills and making new connections in a way that could have not been done in any educational programme or job role. I now am more oriented with a better knowledge where to start my business.

Interaction with Elizabeth has been great. She really supported me and ReImagined Futures. Her practical input has also been invaluable sharing a lot of her experience and expertise in corporate communications and guiding the update of our comms strategy and practices.

Sustainability
Elizabeth Novacek is a communications specialist who has experience with a collection of clients in mobility and real estate. She has been very aware of the increasing demand for sustainable solutions in both these sectors. She sought to gain a deeper and more legitimate understanding of sustainability practices beyond the perspective of her regular clients – but from a consultancy who has a third party non-bias approach to understanding of social and environmental impact. She discovered the EYE Programme through a former university professor and mentor when she consulted him about her professional yearnings to understand sustainability. Viliana was glad to welcome Elizabeth to the team of the sustainability consultancy she co-founded. Vili has over a decade of experience working in social impact and sustainability. But beyond that experience, she is dedicated to continuing her own education always and therefore was an excellent teacher and human library of resources.
Elizabeth and Viliana developed a relationship that fosters their strengths, embraces addressing challenges and how to reach common goals while staying committed to improving social and enviro impact. The cooperation included individual mentoring sessions with the aim to support Elizabeth in setting up a sustainability consultancy. Elizabeth was able to shadow the process of Client Systems Mapping Project and support creating texts that summarised and explained the project. Together they worked on ReImagined Futures’ website and LinkedIn profile. Elizabeth delved into understanding a complex innovation camp among stakeholders in rural regional development. Through getting an understanding to make content for the video, Elizabeth deepened her understanding of sustainable regional development. Through supporting the project management of Client Impact Workshop, she was able to get hands-on experience of sense-making a complex problem for the client and its stakeholders.
ReImagined Futures works as a consultancy for a variety of clients – Elizabeth was able to connect clients who may need her services with better understanding of the sustainability and social impact landscape. Elizabeth reached her goal to develop a clearer and wider understanding of sustainability and social impact. She leaves the programme with a tool kit of methodologies and theories she can engage with as she helps her clientele shift to more sustainable and impactful operations and results. Pomalu & Co. and ReImagined Futures, which both have their own clients, recommend one another as needed - like when ReImagined Futures has a client that needs a communication service or when Polmalu & Co. has a client that needs to address a complex problem. Elizabeth can also add projects she did for ReImagined Futures and their clients to her portfolio, while ReImagined Futures was able to have their communications ‘boosted’ by Elizabeth’s know-how.
