Giada is a young professional from Camisano Vicentino with a Master in Banking and Finance who decided to participate in the EYE to concretize the concepts studied and having a concrete support in starting her own business with greater familiarity. She aims to launch "Italian Finance” a company established to offer the client a consulting and portfolio management service with the mission to help the Italian investor " who knows how to save but does not know how to invest" to invest. The host entrepreneur, Ms. Zoccali, is a young but experienced host entrepreneurs who’s strongly supportive of any initiative aimed at allowing young people to exploit their potential. In 2008, she started working in the field of communication advertising and culture and since 2013 she has been Secretary General of S-Com meant as a think-tank where European communication professionals could come together to think about sustainable communication and with the aim to think about sustainability as a cultural change.

The exchange was a great chance to match the expertise and needs of the two parties: the NE had the chance to deepen her understanding of the nonprofit sector, being engaged in the research comprehensive analysis and comparisons issues regarding the wide range of challenges faced by non-proft organizations (included the constraints and challenges of fundraising and investment opportunities). The NE and the HE worked together on the project management side, on budgeting and stakeholder engagement. In this sense, the NE will exploit all the information and knowledge in her own project to propose alternative finance opportunities to future clients and partners and a broader concept of finance, addressed to a more sustainable ecosystem. A particular attention has been given also to the EU programmes calls for Proposals and tenders with a specific attention on the definition of budgets core of the NE’s activity.

The experience was positive and successful for both the parties involved. The NE had the incredible opportunity to learn about an industry she had never studied before and start thinking about a wider way to provide her services. She discovered the vast opportunities offered by the European Union (EU), especially aimed at youth and women aspirant entrepreneurs. At the same time, the HE and the team could "exploit” Giada’s commitment and skills to provide value-added services and getting a wider look on the non-profit sector, getting concrete support in projects design and development and start designing potential ideas and collaboration on sustainable and social finance.
